First Session: Authentic Alignment

  • My why meets our why.

  • Realigning with our ethos and charism.

  • What does this moment require of me?

Second Session: The Road To Emmaus and My Lens

  • Activities (including group singing): the lenses through which we see and interact with the world around us.

  • An Emotional Intelligence perspective on our lenses and the influence this creates.

  • How the disciples’ lenses were changed on the road to Emmaus and their renewed sense of purpose to share the Good News.

  • Our “Ah ha” moments.

Third Session: Upholding The Dignity Of The Person

  • Bringing out the sacredness within our students and each other.

  • How can I uphold the dignity of the person within our school community?

  • Closing prayer

Program Overview

Outcomes:

For your staff to genuinely reflect Jesus’ teachings and share the Good News, it’s important that they explore how their unique gifts and perspectives align with the Catholic Social Teachings, especially in upholding the dignity of every person.

In this highly engaging and interactive program, your staff will discover the connection between the Emmaus story and the lens through which they can view and engage with your school’s charism and ethos.

Suitable Group:

All school staff.

Number of Staff:

Between 20 and 300 (subject to suitable venue).

Program Length:

This is a full-day program. However, it can be reduced to one or two sessions.

Investment:

The program is $2000 ex GST. Quotes can be provided for shorter variations of this program.

Travel expenses are additional for schools further than a 2hr drive from Brisbane.

Personally, I was on such a high after the day especially viewing how the students participated with enthusiasm, engagement, and openness in their sharing throughout the day.
